Spicy Brauce Fried Rice

Spicy Brauce Fried Rice

Better than takeaway — this spicy fried rice is tossed with Spicy Brauce for a bold, fiery flavour that comes together in under 15 minutes. Perfect for using up leftover rice!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice (day-old works best)
  • 3 tbsp Spicy Brauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup frozen peas and corn
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Push to the side and scramble the eggs in the pan until just set, then break up and mix through.
  4. Add frozen peas and corn, stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the rice and toss everything together over high heat for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Add soy sauce and Spicy Brauce, toss to coat evenly.
  7. Serve topped with spring onions and sesame seeds, with extra Spicy Brauce on the side.

Pro tip: Day-old cold rice gives you the best texture — fresh rice can go mushy. Plan ahead!
