Spicy Brauce Fried Rice
Better than takeaway — this spicy fried rice is tossed with Spicy Brauce for a bold, fiery flavour that comes together in under 15 minutes. Perfect for using up leftover rice!
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice (day-old works best)
- 3 tbsp Spicy Brauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup frozen peas and corn
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- Sesame seeds to garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Push to the side and scramble the eggs in the pan until just set, then break up and mix through.
- Add frozen peas and corn, stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the rice and toss everything together over high heat for 3–4 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and Spicy Brauce, toss to coat evenly.
- Serve topped with spring onions and sesame seeds, with extra Spicy Brauce on the side.
Pro tip: Day-old cold rice gives you the best texture — fresh rice can go mushy. Plan ahead!
